Nutrition services

Good nutrition is a key to a healthy life, regardless of your stage of life or who you are. The registered dietitians at Novant Health WomanCare help our entire community work toward good nutrition. They work with men, women and children of all ages to analyze nutritional needs, develop diet plans and identify potential nutritional problem before they affect your overall health.

You do not have to be a patient at Novant Health WomanCare to take advantage of our nutritionists.

What is a registered dietitian?

The registered dietitians at Novant Health WomanCare have years of education and training devoted to dietetics and nutrition. They have passed national exams given by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and maintain state licensure through the State of North Carolina Board of Dietetics and Nutrition.

Dietitians understand what nutrients your body needs, and know why it can be difficult to maintain a healthy weight. They can explain and encourage healthy eating and healthy ways of gaining or losing weight instead of fad diets or weigh loss plans. You will not have to eat special foods; we will help you develop a nutrition plan that fits into your lifestyle.
